Foldiverse is an intelligent product that optimizes origami training for children with autism through mixed reality design. It is an integrated educational solution combining software and hardware, as well as virtual and real-world interactions. By using AR devices, children can follow virtual 3D origami models with the guidance of the voice assistant FoFo and complete folding step-by-step. After finishing the origami, the paper creation will be brought to digital life through AR technology, encouraging children to interact and communicate with it. This experiential learning approach helps sustain children's motivation.

The hardware design of Foldiverse is inspired by the Holokit device, innovatively utilizing augmented reality technology to enhance engagement in training for children with autism. Through 3D origami tutorials, real-time interactive feedback, and an immersive experiential learning model, it addresses various challenges faced by autistic children in monotonous fine motor skill training. Our AR glasses support DIY external components, allowing children to design their own unique creative tools. They can interact and communicate with each other, forming a social space where they play together in the Digital Life Park.
